Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP)

This course is 50% theory and 50% practical on scissor lift & knuckle boom, covering the following unit standards:
- US 23966 - Describe types of elevating work platforms and legislative requirements
- US 23960 - Assess the worksite, prepare and operate a scissor lift elevating work platform (EWP)
- US 23962 - Assess the worksite, prepare and operate a self-propelled boom lift elevating work platform (EWP)
Training timeframe is as follows:
- Reporting Time: 7:00am
- Training Begins: 7:15am
- Training Ends: 3:00pm
All trainees must wear their full standard PPE gear
NOTE: WorkSafe NZ recommend achieving competency for Working at Height, Harness use (NZQA unit standard 23229)
